Hey, @afiestas.
I'm trying to install BlueDevil using the following instruccion for the terminal:"git clone git://gitorious.org/bluedevil/bluedevil.git; git checkout v1.0-rc1" that you posted over here -> http://www.afiestas.org/bluedevil-the-new-kde-bluetooth-stack-is-here. But it doesn't work. There's a line that says "fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git".
So I googled BlueDevil to see I could find a way to download and install (and add the repository) and the repository is in a .git URL. I tried going to the address but it says I don't have the git protocol associated to any program. Which program do I need?
Thanks in advance! =D

Well as you said, you have to update the version. Also you may want to grab a version of BlueDevil (new bluetooth support), it should work for 4.4.4

Hi! I'm trying to connect my new Apple Wireless Keyboard and I'm unable to get it working. It's recognised by KBluetooth and then, I'm asked for a pin that I must enter on the keyboard. But it doesn't work.
When I checked the version, I realised I had the 0.4 and, as you said, it wasn't implemented. However, I can't update. Yast says I have the latest version (0.4.2-3.1) for my OpenSUSE 11.3 with KDE 4.4.4. Do you know can I fix this??
Thanks!!

You can use Pulseaudio until kbluetooth implements this.

In theory, Bluez save the needed data usually in /var/bluetooth so it can "autopair" you device. The only thing you've to do is set the device as trusted.

I'm kind of busy right now planning/witting the new Bluetooth stack, take a look at kde-hardware-devel mailist to know what I'm talking about.
Maybe you should ask in kde-devel, there are plenty developers willing to help there and a lot of projects ( Kopete!!) that needs more help than KBluetooth :p

<a href="#comment-410" rel="nofollow">@Mark </a>
There are different versions of the same keyboard, what is not working in the stable version is the pairing, the keyboard doesn't ask for a pair so pairing is never done. Now is KBluetooth who says "He you gare pair with me", which btw is how GNOME bluetooth system always does iirc (The GNOME system is done by bluez ppl, so it should be more or less perfect).
